The Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University together with Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) organized “International Faculty Development Seminar (IFDS)” on ‘ Community-Based Approach to Healthcare : Thailand as a case study ’ for 5 lecturers from universities in USA during 21-30 May, 2014 program responsible by Professor Supannee Promthet, Vice Dean for Research and Academic Service, PH-KKU.

Furthermore, they were given lectures from PH-KKU lecturers and visited some provincial hospitals and district hospitals in E-Saan provinces such as Mahasarakham Hospital, Khon Kaen Regional Hospital and Chiang-Khan District Hospital, Lei, to study about healthcare services. During the visit to Chiang-Khan district, they also learned way of life and tried some traditional E-Saan food.
