On August 17, 2019, Khon Kaen University led by Asst. Prof. Denpong Soodphakdee, Vice President for Digital University Development, Mr. Surapon Petchvra, Honorary Member of the University Council, accompanied with administrator and staff team from International Affairs Division, International College, College of Graduate Study in Management, College of Local Administration, Graduate School, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Public Health and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences joined Thai Education Fair in Nepal 2019 at Shangri-la Hotel, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Nepal's Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi and Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal Mr.Bhakavat Tanskul hosted the event in celebrating the 60^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Nepal for Thai universities to promote study programmes and to be a platform for Nepali students to explore different subjects for abroad study in Thailand.   

On this occasion, Khon Kaen University provided different study programmes and announced some scholarships for Nepali students aspiring to pursue a study at Khon Kaen University. With a hundred of Nepali participated in the event that were Nepali students, parents, and several Nepal educational institutes, the visibility of Khon Kaen University was broaden among Nepali and further.

Associate Professor Dr. Wongsa Laohasiriwong, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University welcomes Miss Mitoriana Porisia, International Staff from University of Muhammadiyah, Surakarta, Indonesia on 6 November 2019 at the Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University and discuss on future collaboration. 

Mr. Evan Willson from Clark University, Massachusetts, USA and Dr. David Strekfuss, the director of Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) visited the Faculty of Public Health on 5 November 2019 for discussing on the exchange program on community public health and the future collaborations.

Associate Professor Dr. Wongsa Laohasiriwong, Dean and faculties of the Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University participated in the 11^th International Conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries on Improving Health Equality among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries: A Public Health Challenge during 17-19 November 2019 at Lao PDR.   

Khon Kaen University organized MOU Signing ceremony between Khon Kaen University and Chindwin Technological University on 17 October 2019. The MOU was signed by Assoc. Prof. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, KKU President and Mr. Kyaw Htin Latt, CEO of CTU, Myanmar. KKU and CTU agree to join in academic collaborations, research, and exchange program in order to develop the faculties and the learners of the two universities.

Dr. Ayman Ei-Mohandes, Dean of Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, the City University of New York visits the Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University on 27 September 2019. The aims of the visit are for discussing on academic collaborations and inviting the staff of the Faculty of Public Health to join the conference in USA next year.
